2021 The Moth Nature Writing Prize

The Moth Nature Writing Prize competition is organized by The Month, which is an international arts and magazine based in Ireland is aims to encourage and celebrate the art of nature writing. The award opens annually and is awarded to an unpublished piece of prose or poetry.


The maximum word limit for the competition is 4,000 words

Note: The entries must be entirely the work of the entrant and must never have been published.

The Entry fee for the competition is €15 per entry.

Prizes to be Won
The winner receives €1,000 and a week at Circle of Misse in France. The winning piece will be published in the winter issue of The Moth.
