Praxis Magazine invites all creative Nigerians who have been part of the fight to end SARS and police brutality in Nigeria to submit

  1. Non-fiction (including essays on protest photographs),
  2. Fiction, poetry, and
  3. Visual art on the protests


  1. Prose (fiction and non-fiction) word ranges from 1000 to 2500 words; double-spaced, Times New Roman or Arial font type 12.
  2. Poetry should not exceed 30 lines. Format doc. according to the guideline of prose above.
  3. Submit your work as an MS Doc attachment to with the title of the email as “#EndSARS Submission”.
  4. All visual art should be sent (photographs, illustrations, and graphics) as an attachment. File Size should not be more than 2MB Maximum.

Note: Pseudonymous submissions are therefore warmly encouraged.

Deadline for submissions:

31st March 2021.
