2021 Rattle Poetry Prize Competition

Rattle poetry

The Competition is organized by the Rattle Foundation. An independent, non-profit organization whose mission is to promote the practice of poetry, and is not affiliated with any other organization.

You may submit up to four poems per entry.

Poems may be any length, any style, or any subject.

Poems must be written in English (no translations except by the original author).

Entries must not have been previously published.

Entry fee
The $25 USD entry fee is a one-year subscription to Rattle (or a one-year extension for subscribers).

Prizes
The overall winner will receive a cash prize of $15,000 USD.

Deadline
15 July 2021

Ten finalists will each receive $500 USD, and be eligible for the $5,000 USD Reader’s Choice Award.
