Application Details
Sir Peter Ustinov Television Scriptwriting Award is sponsored by the  International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Foundation. It allows Entrants to create a completed half-hour to one-hour English-language television drama script which is designed to motivate non-American novice writers under the age of 18 and 30. The competition is was designed to offer them the recognition and encouragement that might lead them to a successful career in television scriptwriting.

All scripts must be written and submitted in English for consideration.

The competition is open to non-American novice writers

Prizes to be won

  • a USD $2,500, In addition,
  • The winner will also be flown to New York City to be presented with an award and prize at the International Emmy® World Television Festival on November 20, 2021.
