The thundering of the clouded sky left Obika and idika thinking of each other’s fate if it eventually rain. Idika couldn’t think of anything else other than his Illness. Left at the mercy of the presumed downpour, Obika perturbed at its effect on his friend Idika who had already being weighed down by Asthma. He staggered with the remaining leg of his below Knee dis-articulated leg in search of a cover for his Best friend. Not too long, he sighted at the harvested plantain tree, excited at the sight of it’s downtrodden leaves, He shouted; Idika! Le Le le le-See, see.
He hurried and picked up one. On Getting Close to his friend idika, comes the emptying of the cloud. Both smiles as they looked at each other; Idika said, the Echoes of my love for you, left me totally immersed in what we can achieve together; Obika ran acrossed his hand over his friend’s shoulder to gain a stable posture and said to him “Even though we shares a common imperfect Nature, There’s love in the Smiles and laughter we share together and it matters to Me that “As sure as the Dawn”, you care too. Idika gesticulating with his Amputated Hands said to him; I may not have the hands to hug you as I wish, but Remember this…When the world’s weight and challenges are heavy on you, I want you to know that someone cares and when we help each other, we become Formidable force that can defeat even the World worst Challenges, Obika tossed the plantain leave over idika’s head as the rain drops, and said to him, together “We become the smiles of the world richest people” both smiles coherently as the walk down the aisle.
